  • Last week, Manhattan saw a ten-week high of 220 contracts signed, up 9% week on week and 25% year on year.

  • Manhattan signed contracts have now improved on a yearly basis for six straight weeks.

  • New development sales increased the most year over year, nearly doubling from the previous year.

  • Contract activity increased by double- or triple-digit annual rates in all submarkets except Midtown.

  • Last week, 83 contracts were reported signed, an increase of 28% over the previous week and 24% year on year, marking the ninth straight year of growth.

  • Sales reached a 15-week high at 83 contracts.

  • Condo sales declined 13% from last year, but co-op activity more than doubled due to transactions in both Brooklyn Heights and South Brooklyn.

  • Sales rose compared to 2023 in five of the six price groups.

  • Only the $2M to $3M category experienced an annual drop.

  • Carroll Gardens/Boerum Hill/Red Hook experienced the highest nominal year-over-year growth, with 10 new sales.
