Last week, 201 contracts were signed in Manhattan, a 17% decrease from the previous week and 4% year on year.
This was the first time in eight weeks that Manhattan signed contracts declined on an annual basis.
All product classes saw signed contracts decline by single-digit annual percentages.
Although marketwide signed contracts fell compared to 2023, sales exceeding $5M increased 17% (two sales) year on year.

Last week, 60 contracts were reported signed, a 20% decrease from the previous week and a 5% increase year over year.
The year-over-year decrease follows eleven weeks of straight annual increases in activity.
Condo sales fell 24% from last year, while co-op activity increased 44%.
Sales rose annually in three of the six price levels. The $1 million to $2 million price bracket saw the greatest rise, with seven new contracts.
Fort Greene/Clinton Hill/Prospect Heights saw the biggest nominal year-over-year increase, with five more sales.
For the first time since March, no sales exceeding $3 million were reported in Brooklyn.
